Suppose it depends who we end up in reality but I can see the benefit of someone with enough money to compete and be competitive without the moral quandry of the Saudi State Project or BlackRock. Probably not many options fall into that category I suppose.

Less than in previous years, The overspending by many clubs in chasing the dream is starting to bite, and they're looking to both cut their wage bills and play the loan/free markets more. Only Fulham and Bournemouth (who had parachute payments) spent more than £10m this season.
 
I trust KLD and whatever happens happens, I think it will be a close associate of his buys in and he keeps control.
But in reality I know f*ck all.
As long as we keep progressing that's the main thing.

if there were leaks it would be all over the press

I stand corrected. but seen nothing other than one tom white tweet

I agree in principle as that is eactly what they do aye

I still cant work out KLD, he doesnt seem to want 100%, I dont think its just about money

Could be that KLD would rather spread the risk?? I could be talking bollocks, as far as a takeover goes I think a few might have jumped the gun, we’ve been here before there’s a lockup full of SunDELLand T-shirts somewhere

I agree about kld not wanting 100%, pretty sure he doesn't. Someone buying into the club? Certainly possible. Would have been more likely had we not gone up tbh. As it is, I think Donald would sell, but he'd want a good price. The issue is, if someone just buys out Donald and Methven they get to pay a canny price for no control. Can't see that being appealing! I believe (have sort of heard) that if someone buys out CM, SD and JS they'd have control (so whatever agreement KLD has only holds water with the current set up). If true then if someone buys the three of them out, I doubt KLD would stay long.

I actually think this works well for KLD. Control but with less than 50% risk. If its happening, I think its someone he knows and trusts. Doesn't make sense otherwise.

Thats true but Fulham and Bournemouth had great squads(to good for championship) to begin with.

Well if it's all bollocks why not just ignore the thread rather than say people are talking bollocks?

You've said you know as much as anyone so thet's either nothing or everything.

Really blows me away how quickly some people are to attack others who genuinely believe that they are passing along info in good faith.

Because I'm allowed to comment. When I read the comments it was all 'it's done' or 'lets celebrate' type comments. I don't see the issue in thinking there isn't a whole lot of substance to that, is there?

I'd be delighted if they've gone and if we've brought in people who have a clue and some wealth. Until then I'll hold off on celebrating, is that alright.

Sure, but why say it's bollocks? As far as you or i know it may not be. Is that a reasonable assumption?

It is, perhaps bollocks was too strong a word. I'm fairly sceptical at this moment in time, I'm sure it'll be bumped like mad if it's true and let's hope it is.
