And yet didn't seem to be interested when Donald Duck etc bought the club..Boils my piss that there are very wealthy lads out there from Sunderland and who among them have helped/invested in the club?

I haven’t heard out by the way, just they wanted someone all along to run the club.
They have links to a certain Sunderland lad who is close with kyril!
Tom white also calls it a group.

No idea about investment personally but an investment by Ineos would fit a pattern and their stated aims.

I’d be surprised if he has sold his house above Rolle but I’ll take your word for it - I know Ratcliffe’s and Curries move to Monaco is only temporary to cover tax on a particular transaction and I would guess Reece is in the same boat with that. I know Ratcliffe’s and Curries houses here are still serviced and Ratcliffe’s gofer still lives on the estate.
 
Have met John Reece twice at two separate Sunderland games when we were in the Prem. He wasn’t hugely bothered about football (recall him not really knowing who actually played for us), but he is at the age where he may want to play around with his money.

I guess that the teams success and the huge display of enthusiasam by our fans at the play off final has generate some interest among potential investors who would like to get involved. It is probably quite a common response when a team's achievment is widely celebrate and given a lot of publicity. (Not by BBC Look North of course) .
Whether that interest is welcomed and comes to fruition is however another thing
 
There's a Mag journalist I know through in laws, I keep in touch as an option for tickets if I struggle. Shameful I know.

He says he heard gossip, at Wembley, that there's a potential buyer interested in buying the shares of D&M but also some or all of Sartori's. If that happened it could leave KLD as a minority shareholder but possibly still chairman and running the club.

Inios were interested in Chelsea. And i don't think it was for the football!

Sadly I suspect this will be the case. We know Dumb and Dumber can’t afford to run us in the championship and this way they can try and spin it as though they made great efforts to sell us when in reality they just want to try and get to the premier league on the cheap.
