I'm guessing because of the smoke and mirrors invoked around dumb and dumber's takeover. Then we had the Dell Boys coming in only to still be left with Del Boy and Rodney but saddled with some new debt. Even when they sold out they hadn't really and KLD employed Penn and Teller to explain the transaction to fans. Its Sunderland mate.
