Kinda wary of people whose wealth is purely down to shareholding in one company. What happens if INEOS pancakes? I suppose the amounts were talking about here (maybe £15m to buy out twit and twat plus cover £5-10m a year for the next few years) should be feasible. And if the rumours about him being involved in a Chelsea bid are true that’s encouraging. But it’s not like he’s got £4bn sat about - and he also has a full time job to do.

Isn’t that the case for most investment we can attract, unless we are state funded like another north east club it would be hard to get investment from someone with 4 billion in the bank

It was always one of the mags issues with Ashley whose wealth was on paper rather then physical money

Yeah true. However I guess it depends on the nature of KLDs trust fund. You’d be a bit sick if you were waiting on receiving a £2bn trust fund when you reach 25 only to find that it is shares in a company that’s gone bump. Must be hard being a 1%er:lol:
