I don't claim to understand all of this takeover talk, but have I missed something with their claim that you can buy tokens, and vote on things taking place within the club? Isn't KLD to chief decision maker as per the agreement with them other clowns, so even if its an incredibly trivial thing you vote on, KLD can just overrule it, thus rendering their voting tokens completely pointless?
They would appoint a board member and that individual would represent the fans on the board. The worry is anyone could buy their tokens so it might not be our fans but a bunch of random folks. Knowing them up the road they would all chip in and buy tokens just so they could claim to be influencing our decision.

Aside from the other worry that the strength of their investment is built on a foundation of sand.

I think the model may even be shitter than that. The Milan and Inter token holders get to vote on things like what the club's motto should be for the year, what kind of flags mascots should wave, complete and utter shite.

It's a moot point anyway because these chancers arent seriously going to buy us.

You haven't missed anything mate.

I read their white paper and they didn't even have a strategy for being a minority ownership situation, where they didn't have the power to enact any 'fan control'.

Just one of about 10 very clear reasons they shouldn't get anywhere near us.

he is in his late 70s..

ineos do want an english club..but think the english league is very expensive as a place to buy..on that basis they may look further down than the premier leagueth
That would make complete sense if he had not been interested in Chelsea sale! The club with the most expensive real-estate on the planet!

yes...chelsea has expensive real estate..which can be redeveloped while they build a new stadium..making the club look a bit chepaer than the price tage suggests..

/..also possible he wasnt that interested in chelsea and just said it to generate publicity..he didnt bid for the club ebfore the deadline after all...
he has rejected man utd takeover opportuntiy a few times..

I personally don't think he is a publicity hound! You appear to point to him wanting a better bank for buck scenario ..on that basis i would suggest sunderland would give him that better than another club outside the top 6 of the prem.
