Depends if you view one of the sellers discussing "having left Sunderland in a better position than we found it" with people, via email, a few weeks ago as a legitimate source. Also, the news stories like this one which says the offer to buy out their 39% share of the club has been accepted.

He never can just pipe down can he? The day they finally go will be honestly one of the best days in the clubs history for me like. I mean f***ing hell. And I genuinely think the two of them actually think they’ve done a good job. That’s the scary part. Deluded fuck wits. Wouldn’t surprise me if they come out with some bollocks like “we got promoted 4 years into a 5 year plan” or something like that in their leaving statement. Thankfully 99.9% of fans see them for what they are now.
 
It's all went a bit quiet since that news broke last week. Was hoping to at least have an idea of who the new investors are by now.

I hope this isn't going to hold up any early transfer business we plan on doing.
