Off-Season hobbies

MLS runs through the summer so get my footy fix from that. Probably won’t get to many games this year as having to budget but will watch most every game on telly.

Will do a bit of hiking and got a canny bit travel on with work so I’m sure it will be August before I know it.
 

The Ashes are only a few weeks away and I’ve enjoyed watching Durham who have been fantastic so far this season too. Then in August the buildup to the Rugby World Cup starts and I’m off to Cardiff to watch Wales v England in a warmup game. Can’t bloody wait.
 
When you go to every home game and do fair few aways then this is great time of year to recharge the batteries. Personally I’m looking forward to a few weekends of doing absolutely nothing other than relaxing in the garden and watching the odd bit of cricket at my local club on sunny days.
 
My three year old son is in remission from a stem cell transplant, going through that really makes you appreciate the little things a lot more.

So spending every possible minute with him, currently away at the in-laws caravan for the week and been rock pooling this morning, absolutely loved it. 😎

Aye, it’s been a good while since I missed football in the summer. Fixtures are out in 3 weeks. By the time it gets to August I’m ready again.

That’s one weekend free. Without parks with the bairns, beach, bike rides… I f***ing love my life.
