Too far south to guarantee the weather, as Marty would say.
Unfortunately that’s one of the drawbacks of playing cricket at outgrounds - poorer coverage and drainage when the rain does come.
Also regarding Marty, he made the point in his pre-game email about just how shit the scheduling is for this week:
