Oatcake not happy again (at us again)

I agree then he was subbed for a centre half!

Cannon won more than his fair share against Ballard and Koumas had his fair share against Alese too. That should have been the catalyst to open up a bit.

A bit more ambition then we take something from the game and stop you having as many shots on goal.

Every week is rinse and repeat with this coach though. It will be the same at Luton in the week.
Your number 10 was good
Cannon tried to be a bit of an arsehole and backfired.

your keeper time wasting bit him on the arse he did make a good save onto the post in the first half!

Our manager bit himself on the arse with his tactics. You had 24 shots on goal today (10 on target) , your seasons best by quite some distance. Even Oxford restricted you to 13 earlier in the season.

20+ shots against is familiar stat for us under Pelach I'm afraid.

It's funny to think about these weird rivalries develop in the PL among the shit clubs. Stoke and Hull were big ones for us for awhile I remember. Swansea hated us for a bit because one of our players snapped someone's leg iirc? Then you dont play for a few years and it's all forgotten.

Then we went to having beef with the likes of Wycombe and Wigan

Coventry obviously still seems to have a bit of needle these days, presume that'll all be forgotten in a few years too.
Portsmouth another from the dark days of L1, seemed to play them every other week at one point

aye he did but the one onto the post stands out for me tipping it. Was there best player imo looked quality.

Aye his tactics looked all over the place at times.

Stoke looked like they have a decent team but with little identity or style. Like the manager has just put his best players on the pitch and expects them to win. That said good players will have moments and create chances like they did but we deserved to win that game. Could easy have been a 5-2 game!

Stoke have always brought decent sides up here that at least competed. I still can’t work out what style or how their manager wants them to play these days.

He looks absolutely clueless.

Sums up my thoughts after being at the match today. They weren’t the worst side we’ll see up here by any stretch. It’s just they don’t look like they have any identity or know want to play.

Nowt against Stoke as club, but from the outside, looking in they’re regressing year on year.

Aye, tbf I still bare a grudge with Pompey and look forward to their (hopeful) relegation

Although I don't know if that "rivalry" has calmed down now that we're not competing at the top with each other?

Thought they're 10 and 12 looked canny and I'd be interested to see cannon leading our front line or atleast being an option some one (Wilson) should have had 2 or 3 today

manager is a 36 yo Spaniard who has never played the game at any decent level.
i dont know how they get these jobs!

give it to a 36 local bloke who could at least get across what he wants

They have fell into the trap of going for the stylish looking Spanish manager who they think could be the new Pep or Arteta unfortunately!

Still think we should’ve pushed harder to get Cannon (or Stansfield) in the summer.
