He kicked off against Charlton when people were banging on the table and chanting. He also wasn't too pleased when i put the menu back in the stand upside down when i was in there earlier.

Its boiling and chocker in there. Can hardly move. Im in the rocket down the road. Plenty of space and a lot cooler
Get yourself to Lamb and Flag.
Short stroll to TF and plenty room outside in the courtyard bit to enjoy the weather and people watch.

On a normal Friday it might be a quarter full.

The bloke is biting the hand that's amply feeding him.
And unless he is Mr O'Neil he probably couldn't give a toss how much he takes. He is on a wage and probably can't be arsed to listening to the same chants for the next 12 hours
Always makes me laugh when these threads come up and people say “well if they can afford to turn away business” erm yes this is London the footfall and tourist numbers are insane. Don’t make it obvious you’re a football fan and most likely laces will be happy to have you
Agreed

Nothing wrong. As I expect to leave the forum next week when you are no longer League One I am just having fun making fun of daft comments.

The Griffin might still be going?
Fair play, you should stick around regardless whether we go up pal.

Good to have representatives of other teams (no matter what league they’re in) on here despite what some daft posters say.

Griffin went upper class a while back. Sister club to Browns in shoreditch, was class back in the day too but also got ruined.

Best place (going back a while now mind) was the sports bar in shoreditch, ropey as owt but awesome.

Is that what was the Flying Scotsman? Where they had the skanky strippers? Went in on my stag do many years ago.

Yup that was the place. It's more sedate these days but it's now one of the best bars in Kings Cross for decent beer. Saw the England v Germany match in the Euros there last year.

Will hopefully be there in the next 6 hours or so.

Go to Millers if you want crap lager.

My stag was in 1999, was that before it became popular, or while it was still in its pomp? I remember one of the strippers was a middle aged fat lass, another this skinny thing with pale skin and track marks up her arms. And a couple of hard looking bastards were passing round pint glasses for contributions (for clarification, I don't think they were hard as a result of working around strippers, at least not the ones I saw, unless they had strange taste in women). We didn't stay long.
:lol:The pint pot! Challenge was to put the 50p they wanted into the pot in change and take the same amount out….bit of a Kernts trick but was funny at the time. Also fell in love with a ripper, filthy as owt, she did Comfortably Numb while gazing into my eyes for the entire song. One of my all time favourite moments

If that’s the case why did The Nags Head tag Sunderland AFC supporters after their dray delivery saying “were all ready for you” yesterday then ?

Rocket has always been welcoming to us.
