He will be criticised, and franchise cricket will be blasted (correctly, it’s dogshit) but I have some sympathy for someone who has taken more than 500 international wickets
I doubt mind lads like this, having a payday, coming to the latter part of his career

Spending more time with family and getting a final payday, fair enough. Tbf he didn't look at his best over here in the Test series
He’s done it all bar winning the odi World Cup. And he was a crucial part of England winning
it’s the younger players like smeed who I feel will not deliver on their potential, but the will have plenty of money to spend when finished
He was exceptional when he skittled us early on at Leeds mind

I doubt many fast bowlers have played all formats after that age?
