At the prices being discussed I don't see this having impact. If we were in your shoes it would be a much more impactful initative.

I will say, the fact it goes to charity in the event of it not generating enough is a lovely touch.

I don’t frequent the football forum, I didn’t realise they are all merged until I just had another look at the thread a minute ago.

Shame they don’t do that with 2 sub forums so all the happy lot can stay in two threads like one big family.

it mentions the foundation of hearts. that says 8000 people have raised 11.5m in about 10 years. if ashley is still in charge in in 10 years man, there'd be no supporters left.

Did you miss 'or whatever' part out deliberately or just struggled to comprehend it? If season ticket holders did that's 150k a year. It's currently being endorsed by Shearer, Lee, Barton etc so you can assume it's going to potentially reach more of the 1.6m twitter followers the NUFC account has (even if only 5% of its followers that's another 80k people).

Look, chances are it's probably going to fail - for a host of reasons. As people have already said, 1% isn't going to give you any voice worth having in any boardroom. Chances are Donald has fuck all say in you guys these days and he has what 5%? For me, you see too many clubs these days having fans scrambling at the last minute for any amount of money to save their clubs. Planning for the worst case scenario for all clubs seems like a sensible thing to do.

As it's already announced anyway, if it fails it's all going to charities in the NE. Don't get the fuss about it tbh.

Forgive me if thats just a load of nonsense that doesn't make sense, feel like shit.
