That and those couple of years where they lost the cup final too. I remember cup final day when they played Arsenal. It was the day we queued up at the SOL for our playoff final tickets against Charlton. It was a boiling hot day and the queue was from the ticket office, round the car park and round to the main entrance into the ground. People had brought footballs to have a kick about, people were wearing Arsenal shirts and it was just a tremendous atmosphere. Then we got home, watched the final, that lot got beat and then they smashed their own city up, great dayThink it stems from the last day of the season in 96 when Man Utd won the title (after being 12 points behind them). They smashed up the Bigg Market including phone boxes. I'm sure there was a photo in the papers of some munter with her quim out standing on top of phone box! Classy.
