Callum Wilson coming back will improve things, but I think they've stopped playing for him.

Either way, he's a total wanker. I knew it when he left you lot and blamed his 'heritage' and it's only continued.

He seems a sensible choice but his last job up north wasn't a good experience for him. If he has a big ego, I'm sure the mags would appeal.
Can't see Lampard coming to the NE. Very wealthy guy, just had a nipper, does he really want to jump straight back in ?
Wilder did a great job at Sheff Utd and also at Oxford. Would he work under Ashley ?

Promoting Jones ? 🤭 That would do, he's had so much success.
Hughes ? A slight improvement on Bruce but overall, bang average.
Rafa ? Would want too many things his way which would be unpalatable for FMA.

IF there is still a slight chance of the takeover eventually happening ( and fwiw, I think there is) does this affect Ashley's choices and thinking ?

Does it affect a prospective managers thinking as well ? Unless there's a healthy compensation package sorted, would someone like Wilder or Howe go in knowing they could be out 2 months later ?

The mags have a tough looking run in but with Wilson and ASM coming back plus Fulham's ineptitude, I think even a mediocre manager like Hughes wud keep the feckers up.

Rafa won't return. Ashley will know he will keep them up and want a huge contract in return. We have been here before.

The Mags at the moment remind me of us in the Prem when we were struggling. We'd play someone like Brighton (Swansea under Bob Bradley) and get twatted 3-0. When they play Liverpool it'll be the Reds of last season who'll turn up.

That all said, I think they'll sack Bruce soon, roll the dice and stay up just. Next season will see them even worse.

i don’t think they will sack Bruce I think they’d have done it by now

Ex managers are available lampard Howe etc yet he’s still there

had fans been allowed in hedve been long gone but no fans has saved him
