๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Quite a special breed are our geordie rivals
Geordie rivals ?

He was in the dug out for 90 mins that game giving players instructions etc.
He's never been in the dug out for 90 mins or give players instructions since.
He might be in charge soon.

I donโ€™t think heโ€™s getting sacked this season. In fact Iโ€™d be surprised if he was. Ashley isnโ€™t one to sack managers and just donโ€™t see it happening. Itโ€™s obviously not the right decision to keep him, but Iโ€™d be really surprised if Ashley made a change this late in the season

Hi TravellingMackem, I agree, I don't think he's getting sacked this season. While Ashley isn't one to sack managers, the three that he has sacked provides some context. Allardyce - early in the reign as owner, not his appointment, listened to fans (still drinking with fans at that point).
Hughton - completely out of the blue in terms of results, he done well. Was rumoured in the October, but he went in November. Couldn't control the players apparently. Because he sided with them over a bonus dispute.
McClaren- shite, waited way too late.

No other manager has been sacked despite deserving it. Managerial change in relegation peril in 2009 was when Kinnear had a heart attack, had Hughton as caretaker then Kinnear couldn't come back so Shearer got it.

To fill in blanks, ones not sacked when deserving would be Pardew, caretaker Carver.

Benitez didn't excel, nor did he warrant sacking imo.

Newcastle after the Brighton game. WTF???

No horses were harmed in the above production.

Its pathetic! "not one of us! coward" what a load of childish nonsense ........the blokes doing a bad job with the help of some questionable players who are not playing for the manager.......I hate this Geordie parochial "were special" nonsense.

But Bruce said he never walks away from a challenge I mean he's resigned from about 5 clubs but he never walks away from a challenge. Even though he's Newcastle manager it still annoys me hearing him coming out with the same shite he did for us.

8 out of his last 10 he's left of his own accord.

He's had 11 jobs.

It's not really tbf. He's obviously doing an absolutely shite job, and to watch it from our perspective is brilliant.

If we had a manager like Bruce that was an extremely disappointing appointment and claimed to be 'one of us' we'd be just as frustrated. He's won 2 in 20 too, they're not thinking they're special by wanting him to resign/be sacked, they're just using the same sense that any other football fan in that situation would use.

Viva la Brucey.

Ashley has our fanbase in the palm of his hand mind, heโ€™s not daft. He knows Bruce is a useless knacker heโ€™s appointed him to deflect the focus away from him and to annoy the fans as he hates us. When Bruce finally goes it will be good pr for Ashley who will appoint some other no Mark, 45k fill his pockets when crowds are back and round it goes

Why the need to do anything at all? Hardly likely to change a thing and stops you being an embarrassment. Someone like Ashley will have made his decision weeks ago about what to do with Bruce and wonโ€™t be swayed by any number of fans. In fact fans tells him what to do will mean his ego pushes him to do the opposite
So youโ€™re saying just accept it? I feel like that just shows him whatever he does is fine.
Imagine if we got bedsheets with Phil Parkinsons head on man? Embarrassing.
That happened during lockdown, and I think we can agree had you changed him sooner youโ€™d be walking the league (I think you still might). For me, thereโ€™s a big difference between Wraith being a twat and a fan group doing something organized. Trust me, I laughed at the daft misspelled ones, but we have so little power Iโ€™d prefer to exert whatever we have.
