Well done for winning the lower league cup. We view it the same as you lot would look at darlo and South Shields winning at Wembley. Smaller clubs winning a lower league trophy
Aye little old Sunderland holding a charity match to keep your joke of a club in existence.
Didn't Big Mike give away 10,000ish part season tickets fairly recently?
Yep buy one get one free

Support your side through thick and thin? In the champo season especially there was about 20k in the stadium. 28k empty seats by far the most in the whole of the UK.

Yawn. Get a life man. Even with 20 odd thousand it was hellish support. You're living in a dreamland if you think you'd have had much more, we've all witnessed how bad your support can get in tough times, not when it's propped up by 10 year season card commitments, free tickets and spending £80m in the championship to get out of it.

I tell you what, you wouldn't have been selling out your ground this season had fans been allowed in, but then your excuse would have been that you were protesting and that would make it acceptable in your eyes.

Grow up man.

You need to calm down Wolfie, you are biting like hell and it can’t be doing your health any good. If this were a boxing match your corner would be throwing the towel in. Give it up you are getting butchered here

I think if we do go down and Bruce remains in charge, along with the covid impact we could easily be seeing crowds below 30k next season like.

Its still rationed in my house. But that's because I'm fat and need to lose weight for "my own good" apparently.
Gerraway! Nee cheese? I don’t think I could handle that mate. On the other hand if it’s for your health it’s a good plan. Live to eat cheese another day.

The truth is, we support our side through thick and thin and get excited by every goal we score and every win we achieve. Only a thick, bitter idiot would accuse Sunderland and their fans of being small time.
This. Loyalty .

Yes the stadium ain't full but in these hard times and with shit management and football for years , then over 30k and sold out away tickets ain't bad for where we are .

Which other club after years of relegation fights and successive relegations and them no promotion from this shit league would get that.

I think it would be totally insane to open up stadiums fully next season.

yeah because you lot of simple f@#ckers are so deluded you think you are one of the elite when you in truth the last success you had was broadcast in black and white!

Yes small time. Any set of fans getting excited about the efl trophy are small time. The only ones I’ve seen get giddy about it is you lot and a couple of league 2 sides. Imagine what you lot would be saying if we were even playing in such a low tinpot cup never mind getting excited about it. Fortunately we never have or never will be shit and small time enough to play in it

we got excited about playing champions league a level you never have or ever will reach and there’s you lot in a 3rd an 4th division cup you should be embarrassed, have some self awareness ffs. And yes small time as you are currently in a league below luton town man.
I find it mental you want to be thought of as equal beings as NUFC yet you go on like that over the efl trophy no wonder you get called sad mackem bastards and small time. Try getting back in the PL and filling your stadium for once and making European football for the first time in half a century then we might take you lot seriously
We are your life you sad pathetic twat

Yeah maybe, separate discussion I guess but I think its getting harder and harder for people to justify the time money and effort into the club anymore for a myriad of reasons.

Wasn’t cheese still rationed the last time they won anything there?
Technically not because cheese rationing (along with meat) actually ended a year before they last won anything. Interestingly, thanks to the devastation caused to the British cheese making industry by the focus on just one cheese variety throughout the war years and the subsequent controls on milk prices by the Milk Marketing Board, it's entirely possible they wouldn't have had any cheese when they got stuffed there in 1974 either

Definitely. I live away now, and I'll keep my subscriptions for obvious reasons, but there's really nothing to invest in right now.

I know people harp on about the takeover (which I don't think will go through) but that brings about a string of other concerns. I try and take some comfort from the fact I have a team to watch etc, but I'd say it's the lowest ebb of my time supporting them.

16834 average attendance the year before the Premier League came into existence and you lot dare to slag off our attendances     Just goes to prove your fans never existed until 1992.

Boo hoo 😭

Try successive relegations, three years in the third tier, flirtation with administration and owners running the club like a car boot sale.

Another deluded mag knacker.
