Seems Matt Richie has joined the ever expanding list of players and supporters who can’t stand Teflon Steve. Won’t be long before there’s a host of ex players and media buddies coming out in defence of him.

He’d be gone by now if the fans were allowed in. The day we finally snapped we were villains. He was throwing mud that stuck and he walked away the victim. Interesting how he ll deflect blame on this one. I always remember a Kenny Cunningham article about Bruce and his time at Birmingham. It mirrored everything that was happening at Sunderland. You can add a few more clubs to it now.

Remember when the Magedia said it was the fans fault, when we wanted rid. And we never excepted him because of his roots. When really its because he's not that good of a manager.
I blame Bruce as the root cause of where we are now, he set the tone of the type of player we brought in. From that infamous transfer window onward, when we lost quality and replaced them with poorer players.

100%. Shit players big money contracts. Mind you the muppets running us renewed a lot of them for narrowly avoiding relegation. Everywhere he goes he has huge injury lists. He paints it as bad luck in the media, but no manager can be that unlucky at every club he goes to. When he was here he used to rush players back.
 
The bloke IS a coward. It’s absolutely right that he never takes responsibility, he shows terrible leadership by constantly making excuses and throwing people under the bus.

I just hope this most recent incident doesn’t cost him his job, as that may lead to them replacing him with someone more competent and they end up avoiding relegation.
 
Not looking good for old Brucey. He always goes on these runs every club he’s been at. He’s so defensive too and I don’t mean tactically.

If it’s true the players have turned it might only take a Fulham win and another loss for the Mags and he will be out. Hope not. We need him there.

Dinnit be daft man. I like to see Newcastle do shit, but I’d never lump that in with our success. Scraping our way out of this league & winning a cup we don’t want to be invited to play in isn’t success.

But, I’d love to see Newcastle go down & Brice still keep his job.
