No indication at all, it's just what I'd prefer.

I don't think you need to aim for top six/top four, you can build a sustainable, ambitious club that bobbles about the top half, occasionally competing for domestic cups, occasionally benefiting from elite clubs having poor seasons to sneak into Europe. That investment isn't eye-watering and can be predicated on a shrewd transfer model, good commercial deals and a strong academy.

Shhh. Don't tell the other 19 clubs your plan - no one will have thought about it. It will take a very brave person to buy the club now as expectations amongst the masses were set at Mbappe.

Before you come out with more rubbish do some more research on the clubs finances vis-a-vis the rest of the league. The club makes a small profit (after MA's loans) leaving c30m to spend on wages/transfer fees/new training ground/academy development/scouting network to be sustainable and push for the top half.

Not gonna be very nice for all the mag mother's all being ignored. The whole families will be sitting glued to the TV watching sunderland.Smelling of green gravy envy saying Mickey mouse cup over and over again to each other in a seething tone.

Sadly the good folks at Greggs can sleep a little more soundly in their beds. Quite sure the pie muncher will still be there next season. That unsaintly minimum guy looks to be well recovered and starting to look a class act. Three for the drop, Sheffield, WBA, and Southampton. Hope I m wrong

I know it was an attempt at sportswashing, I've never said otherwise. If they didn't want to buy Newcastle United, why bother even trying. Sportswashing needs more than simply flirting with the idea, if it didn't, they would have surely flirted with the idea of buying the elite clubs like Man Utd, or whomever. They wouldn't have gone through as much of the process as they did if they were not remotely interested in ending up as owners of Newcastle United.

Also, it wasn't a cinch, because it failed.

Well, there's more, but I was aiming for pith.
It was a massive success. Your Fans spokesman Wraith went on National radio saying they were trying to change and twitter is still awash with hope every time a Saudi takes a shite. It worked 100% you absolute bulls knacker 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yeh really jealous....Wembley final between 3rd & 4th division teams in the Papa John's Trophy....whilst we have a premiership game v Aston Villa

You wont need to appoint a new manager....Bruce is ok at champo level and will want to get yous back up
Is he? Couldn't get promoted with the most expensively assembled Championship side and was roundly criticised for the football.

Plus, when the fans get back in I'm sure they'll be wholly supportive of a manager who's never managed to get them on side. If we go down under Bruce we won't come back up under Bruce.

Dubai's sportswashing worked on Man City because they've delivered on their promises, and exceeded them in some regard. The Saudis will sharp be forgotten if they don't end up as owners. Just because Steve Wraith is so hungry for attention he'd pipe off Trump on youtube, doesn't mean the fanbase as whole is blind to the horrors of the Saudi regime.

You're conflating fans wanting to be successful with fans thinking the Saudis are great. You're also guilty of being utterly blinded by your contempt for Newcastle fans, to the point there's fuck all point in continuing this chat.

 that would be hilarious!
I still think Sheffield and Man City won't bother against you. Why would they care?

Would still beat us though. Can’t wait for this season to be over. But then again what for? If we stay up Another race for 17th? If we go down, potentially getting beat iff you twice more. Haha. I should have never went to that first match in 89, it may have all turned out so differently.

Man City will not take the foot off, it's not in Pep's nature.
Sheffield, I've no idea. The way Wilder is talking they've accepted relegation (understandably), last away game... But just because they're relaxed about it doesn't mean we'll beat them.
