I like to think it was a massive piss take by Ashley as they knew the PL would never pass it. Changed the narrative about him not wanting to sell and got them on his side a bit. Especially as he's pursuing compensation from the PL now (apparently).

You can only do so much praying that one of those teams passes them but I can't see it.
Mags are on 1 PPG and if they continue to do that and all of the teams below did what BSA did (21 points in 16 games) they would still fall short and Mags in 17th. But if the most recent run of 3 points in 5 continues it could be very interesting and an injury to Wilson will really be good fun!
