asm is really good, issue he has is the same as johnson,sess had at safc, o nool, bruce playing so deep thatthe players are getting the ball in the fullback area and expected to run past 3 or 4 men everytime

some powerful centre mids who can dictate play and give the ball to jinky wingers in the opponents final 3rd and can work

allardyce did ok with borini and khazri as wingers as they were grafters albiet not as talented

but put lads like that in a team on the offensive and they get more joy

Who was the last Geordie to play for England (aside from freakshow Andy Carroll)? Some vision, didn't Keegan sack off the reserve/youth teams so he could spend more time rimming Alan.
*Carrick doesn't count because he was decent and had nowt to do with the Mags*

The reason we are on the bad run is because of him and the way he instructs and sets the team up.
But he'll roll his sleeves up and keep bashing away at it.
