This is classic Bruce at every club he has managed. It’s nothing new, he will leave, get a pay off, a few gigs in the studios on tv and then be re employed at another club.

happens everytime
Where the bruce have you been hiding? Nice to see you back :D

Does every article that fanzine write have to mention the Keegan 90s team and all the superstars that played in it? They're permanently living in the past.
The thing is that keegan “I’d love it”meltdown season was closer in time to us winning the FA cup than it is from then till now. There’s mags in their 30’s who won’t have any memories of that team and they still wank furiously over it. It’s bizarre..

He's on a hiding to nothing here. Plus, have you seen him recently? He looks absolutely miserable. He walks and he's still got plenty of cash in the bank, he'll not be out of a job for long as one of the Championship clubs will sack their manager soon enough, and he'll be inundated with punditry offers.

If he walks he can blame the poor form on COVID, the mean and nasty twitter people, the press. If he stays and we go down, that won't wash.
You expect him to walk away from a seven figure sum, with nothing else to go straight to?

It's not Rafa we're talking about here.

He’s not going to ‘walk’ is he. Seriously man, it’s like delusion is in your DNA. Such a “special” breed.

Expect? No. I expect he'll need to be sacked. But if he loses the next two (which is probable), the pressure will increase from all directions and he may think enough is enough.

 saying he may isn't the same as saying he will.

He'll sit it out until Big Mike waves the cheque at him, but do continue to try and convince yourself otherwise.

Thinking about it, the Mags really blew it getting beat off Sheffield.
If they'd beat them obviously they'd be there points better off for a start and inching towards safety, but also Sheffield wouldn't have started what is a decent run for them and maybe would be totally fcked instead of now believing a great escape is possible.
Imagine playing 8-1-1 against the bottom team man

That's Bruce, he's a such a great manager.

Gary Caldwell on radio Newcastle saying last night he's a fantastic manager with tons of experience that he firmly believe he has the ability to turn it round.

Obviously ignoring the fact he created this mess to start with

The way he's gone on about ASM and Fraser you'd think they were Pele and Kenny Daglish
Be interesting to see what excuse he gives if you keep losing with them two back in the side

Saint Maximum (sic.) was becoming out of favour anyway. His attitude was wrong and he was out of form after signing his new contract. Shearer (Bruce's mate) said he had been off since the new deal. Not something other Newcastle watchers picked up on, so I think that line from Shearer was via Bruce. He was subbed off vs Everton, poor against Southampton, subbed against Chelsea. Got loads of criticism in the defeats against Chelsea and Southampton.

Didnt he play a 4-5-0 formation once with us. Think it was away at Brighton in a cup game
