Sheffield United are gone. The WBA are going looks like they're gone. They've actually got worse under Allardyce. But I wouldn't write them off.
Other than that we are the worst team in the league over the last 5, 8, 10 games... however you wanna look at recent form.
We'll be very close to relegation. Absolutely terrible.
If Fulham win tonight we are only 4 clear.
If Brighton win tonight we are still 7 clear but drop to 17th. Everton at the weekend.

Bruce may resign after the way he has been treated. History shows that their past managers who also suffered abuse after doing their best. eg Gordon Lee, Richard Dinnis, Jack Charlton. Bobby Robson, Sam Alladyce, Graham Souness, Steve McLaren, Alan Pardew, Chris Hughton, Glenn Roeder. Even Keegan and Benitez came in for stick from certain quarters. You will struggle to find a new coach/ manager, although you could do worse than promote the red and white loving Steve Agnew.

Over the last 5 PL matches, Bruce's Newcastle are only 3 points behind the Champions Liverpool. When you put it that way, it seems harsh all the stick he is getting.

Had they managed being just 3 points behind Liverpool every 5 games last season they would have finished on 76 points and qualified for the Champions League in 3rd place.
