They need a "name" to make them relevant. When the "name" doesn't work out they need "someone who understands the club".

Rafa had the "name" and said the right things to the media to give off an image of "understanding the club".

I texted a mate that yesterday. Jones is made "interim head coach" when Bruce gets the boot. If Newcastle stay up, announcement made in the summer that he is the "head coach" having signed a two-year deal.
