I gave Rafa a fair chance and he continued to produce football that was mind numbing and only panicked when the sheet was ready to hit the fan in the January, which is when he allowed us to play some football with the quality we had, plus some good additions.

I've given Steve Bruce the benefit like that and he's had plenty of decent attacking players and attack minded players at his disposal, yet decided to play mind numbing football after actually having us playing acceptable and reasonably balanced football earlier on.

I can't continue watching games like this without wanting to scream and swear and generally just end up down...so for those reasons (dragon's den style) I won't be investing any more time in backing Bruce. I want him gone. Not tomorrow. Not next week. Not next month. NOW :confused::rolleyes::neutral:

I think it’s wrong that you just don’t accept him because he’s a former Sunderland manager.

He’s floundering now, and has now decided to hang a lot on ASM returning. Whilst ASM is good, he was poor prior to having Covid, and will take a good while to get up and running anyway after illness. Nailed on he will get thrown in way too soon and end up missing another 6 games or something. Adding to that, apparently he has fallen out with Bruce anyway. He’s just Clinging on desperately.
ASM Is good but as soon as he signed a new contract he stopped giving a shit! He was hopeless before his injury.

Didn't do that at qpr though. I think they'd go nuts if he was Bruce 's replacement as they wouldn't see him as a big enough name. Be great fun to watch. Lower midtable at best or relegation. Very similar to current manager
I’d actually say Bruce is the better manager of the two, although there’s not much in it.

There’s very little chance the Mags will get relegated this season under Bruce. They have 5 wins and 4 draws from just under half a season which is on track, and the sides below them are crap, this isn’t a guarantee though, so they should probably be careful what they wish for.

The delusion is absolutely off the scale
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love this bit:
"Comparing and Benitez is ridiculous,"

...but then he does it anyway!

"the only link is that Steve Bruce inherited Rafa’s legacy. All this rubbish about gloves off and my way, is just that. In short, the inheritance has worn off and now we are witnessing the Steve Bruce academy of mismanagement and confusion, compared to getting the best by giving confidence and clarity – hope.

So what can we expect at best? A manager in the mould of Benitez, Wenger would be my choice, or Rafa himself, but both unlikely."
😁😀😂😃😃😃😅😆😆😆

In the pursuit of trying to appear clever they show themselves up to be castle wall grade thickness.

I actually hope the stay up.... just. Then drop next season. My best case realistic scenario is us geting up this year and having a year to build a young hungry side, then meeting them in championship the year after. We'd not fair well just being promoted playing them with parachute payments and a strong squad for championship level.

Our last Prem side:

Pickford, Manquillo, Oviedo, Jones, Oshea, Lescott, Larsson, Cattermole (Gibson), Boroni, Janzzaj (Gooch), Rodwell

Mags last line up:

Darlow, Yedlin (Carroll) , Fernandez, Schar. Clark, Ritchie, Almiron (Murphy) , M Longstaff, S Longstaff, Joelinton (Shelvey), Wilson

Two poor sides. I don't watch the mags enough to say who from the mags teams would get in the poor Sunderland team. But yeah - "upper mid table"..

....Manquillo was on the bench.
I thought that when I seen their lineup in the Sheffield United game. I haven't actually watched them this season, so wasn't sure how their team was but it's absolutely f***ing woeful on paper like

f***ing hell, tears in his eyes because they're 15th in the league. What a little gonk.
The deluded little sh!t needs to get a life. Does he think fans of Fulham, Brighton, WBA, etc... are happy with the way their club are performing. Bet he reads and takes as gospel every word the likes of Lee Ryder churn out about what a huge club and great city they are as well, and they wonder why everyone else laughs at them.
