I would put Sheff UTD as favourites thats how bad Newcastle are. I cannot believe they have the points they do
We have the points we do because of a number of things.

1. We have a very good goalkeeper who has done a great job in the absence of Dubravka.

2. We have a committed and well drilled defence and a defensive team working all over the pitch.

3. We score enough goals to win some matches, whether it's a lucky break or a great strike or a decent penalty...etc...etc..

The football can be mind numbing at times and if I'm honest, I hate watching it half the time....but, it's clear the owner and manager's job is to ensure we play premier league football, first and foremost...but the sad thing is, it's the goal of every other owner and manager outside of the elite 6 and a few stray pretenders, in my honest opinion.

I'm not particularly over the moon about, by hook or by crook football...but, what choice do I have?

It's like sitting there and being punched in the face with a decent right from a right handed boxer and just hoping the next punch is a left and also telling yourself that there's always hope of a gentle glove slap.
I usually start each season feeling like this.

I'm at this stage at the moment.

But what the hell, I chose thick and thin and I have to keep hoping things will get better.

4. You have the most luck in World football

SHEFF UTD

Ramsdale, Basham, Egan, Ampadu, Bogle, Lundstram, Norwood, Fleck, Osborn, McGoldrick, Burke.

Subs: Foderingham, Jagielka, Bryan, Lowe, Brewster, Mousset, Sharp.

NEWCASTLE

Darlow, Yedlin, Clark, Fernandez, Schar, Dummett, Hendrick, Hayden, Sean Longstaff, Fraser, Wilson.
Subs: Dubravka, Anderson, Matty Longstaff, Ritchie, Murphy, Almiron, Joelinton, Carroll, Gayle.

for those not bothering with our match

that Newcastle midfield is awful for the premier league.

Is this basically 1-8-2 formation with Fraser and Wilson expected to score at a random point?
