Bruce’s and Benitez’s records at the Mags are very similar - average or worse in the league, crap in the cups. The only difference is that Bruce has never relegated the Mags.
a knaaa but rafa had to manage on minimum wage, hands tied behjnd hjs back, acid squirted in his eyes, broken glass in his shoes, only 60m to spend to get them back and only allowed to buy players less than 9m pounds, apart from 6 or 7 of them anyway

Is Bruce inept enough to lead the skunks to defeat at Sheff United on Tuesday ?
If they don't win there, the skunks will be revolting....
Game over, Mags not taking over Trafalgar Square or going to Wembley anytime soon.
How many years is that 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Careful Janey 'wolftoad' will be asking you when was last time you drank in a bar in Antwerp before a Euro cup game sad twat:oops:

I think we have to be honest and say Bruce not in same 'league' as Benitez who at least has a few trophies to his name, though he is of course past his best.

There wasn’t one other than Donald saving the most minuscule amount of money.

Ah well that's fair enough, blood thicker than water etc. + aimed at individuals ( rightly so at the look of it ) and not the club as a whole.

I understand any move up or down the road, not many changes needed to living n only 16mile up the road extra travel.

Very few of them have any loyalty nowadays and it's all about number one. I can't really bash him for not wanting to disturb family life too much and to make a statement at the same time.

You take a dump on peoples families and they're going to react out of impulse.

I read this until I got to this part....

["However, I would like to think that the majority of our fan base are reasonably intelligent and can work things out logically."]

Reasonably intelligent? I think not ....

I can see the heat turning up a bit on Bruce now. He has no cups to disguise the bad league form. I can also see them losing against Sheffield United too.

Benitez won't ever coach at the top again. He's in the Ancelotti bracket of 'team that wants to bridge the gap and break into the top four'.

I doubt we will see him anywhere near the top flight. Failure to do much at Newcastle plus disappearing to obscurity in China has pretty much ended his chances in the premiership unless he brings a relegated team up from the Championship.

More likely I think is that he ends up managing in the top flight in Spain or Holland

I listened to an interview with him on 5-live about a month ago - he sounded very keen on a return to the premier - and I reckon quite a few clubs would be interested in his services.

West Ham wanted him at points and I could see them going for it again.

Couldn't see him going Holland, the scope is too small and he'd be a horrific fit at PSV or Ajax. Already done Italy, so maybe at a push France or Germany.
