It is certainly cause to make Mike Ashley a bit more nervous again, after seemingly escaped the doomsday scenario of relegation.

Football’s gravy train is starting to derail as I observe reaction throughout the country. The greed game is starting to seem like a busted flush.

Perhaps the blow back from this is the start of a reclaim of the game. After all it was created by the poor and stolen by the rich.

Gary Neville as the unlikely voice of the proletariat.

Everton Leeds and the Mags would become the biggest clubs in northern England if the 2 Manchester clubs and Liverpool leave.

Surely we don’t want this

imagine trying to peddle the grand slam Sunday as the two of the ‘nouveau big 6’ Newcastle and Villa showdown at Sid James park. Live and exclusive on the bbc red button during countryfile. Bbc spending many hundreds of thousands to secure the rights to the new English premier league

Totally agree with you there. They are on a different planet and many are that arrogant, they’d rather be in it to satisfy their egos without thinking of the rest of the teams around the country and domestic football in general.
95% of us are the same as 95% of you.
My support for Newcastle has never waivered in 50 years of attendance. I love my club.
However if we did have anything to do with this breakaway in the future, I would undoubtedly be finished with them.

Fancy supporting us mate?

Few will want to buy a club now, unless the Super League is a real reality and any buyer has assurance that their new club will be admitted to the league.

Insisted Newcastle were safe before he jumped ship. All his ECL winning triumphs now become theirs and they take THFC's place in the ESL!

They actually did it 😂. They missed a trick with Prince Phillip dies ‘what does this mean for the Newcastle takeover’

I hope he does go. He'll fuck them up big style but they won't care as he's "a world class manager" suited to how they see themselves. No one else does, just deluded Geordies. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Well his record managing there is really poor. Long may that continue if he ever gets that job.
