NUFC/Sportwashing

So why aren't you horrified now. Why does it matter that it's a different club? The crimes are the same - why aren't you moved enough to act?
How about if you smelly lot protested enough about these animals taking over your club they would probably have pull out, instead you had that lame excuse of an MP protesting in parliament how there was some in house premier league vendetta against your club.
Had you as fans protested against these animals this would not have happened.
Instead you all praised how good these people are and how good they would be for the region.
Rivals supporters protesting would have not made any difference, however as I've said as fans of the club you lot could have, yet you blame the fans of other clubs.
Then again I wouldn't expect anything else from in bred, unwashed, mentally disturbed individuals that are the scum

I'll stick up for them when people refer to some of my best mates and family as murderers or terrorist sympathisers.
Over a hundred thousand of them prostituted themselves begging for a fascist state to buy them a good team so they can deflect from their murderous ways and hatred of the west. That is condoning murder. You are condoning people who condone murder.
To "Santa Claus is coming to town" tune 😂

You'd better be straight
You'd better be male
You'd better shut up
Or you're going to jail

Bin Salman is coming to Toon
Bin Salman is coming to Toon
Bin Salman is coming, for YOUUUUUUUUU.
Better with
ISIS has bought the toon
ISIS has bought the toon
ISIS is coming for you

I know there are Newcastle fans who are uncomfortable with the Saudi takeover and don't like being tarred with the same brush as all those celebrating outside SJP, waving Saudi flags and what have you. I've seen them on here and I completely believe them and sympathise with their predicament.

But it's all been a bit quiet, hasn't it? Have there been any organised fan groups condemning the takeover, releasing statements protesting against their club being taken over by a murderous regime?

Worth a read, not that some will be bothered, you'll be able to buy a world famous number nine with all the money.

@johnpilger: The ex Newcastle United star Rob Lee says of Saudi Arabia's takeover: "Football club owners are not always squeaky clean." Be there, Rob, for a blood-soaked beheading on a football pitch. Or observe the cowardly Saudis bomb Yemen's starving children.
Aye, but Uber, an hes ganna buy wa umbappy man. Leeve wu alurn. Wuh just want an urner what tries ( and executes)

Gathering pace with the Inter takeover
This is genuinely a kick in the stots for the Mags really, If the Inter and/or Marseille goes through, it just emphasises they are using this entirely as a vehicle to promote themselves within the footballing world. The Mags will definitely be stronger than they have been before, thats undeniable, but it isn't going to be the takeover they really thought. Essentially a franchise of footballing groups, sold their soul.

You're stuck down a hole, you're helped out but it's a member of the KKK. Can you be happy that you're out of a hole, and be disgusted at who got you out?

Staveley and the Premier League have issued statements insisting the PIF are separate to the KSA.

That's bollocks too.

I hope the Newcastle fanbase learn not to be complicit in Sportswashing.

So you're disgusted by the Saudis but would rather have them than Ashley.

As Ashley isn't close to being as vile as these disgusting people there's only one possible reason you're happy.

That's because they'll spend more money on players.

You can't deny that.

Football fans are hypocrites, on the whole. Chelsea fans saying any players will have been bought with blood money. Man Utd fans saying any success will have been bought and not earned. Sunderland fans saying they'd walk away from their club if it was associated with something awful.
Not all are hypocrites. Just to put your quote in context, I (and plenty of my mates) walked away from the club I’d been a season ticket holder at for over 35 years, in protest at the Glazers and let’s be honest, they are like Mother Theresa compared to this lot.

If PIF take over Inter, Newcastle can’t have Champs League football. They’d be trapped into an Ashley-esque model again - do well enough, but not too well.

RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg can only get away with it now (previously wasn’t allowed) because RB sold their controlling stake in Salzburg.

Visiting Brighton fan by the way, wanted to see the reaction to the NUFC/PIF stuff on here, as I’ve had arguments with Newcastle-supporting friends/family members about the massive hypocrisy of fans surrounding the takeover.

You should also add there's still open hostility against the Glaizers from the current fan base. Remember the protests at the Liverpool game

Gary Neville and Lineker never usually fail to give their opinions on political matters but as yet I've not heard them mention this once.
Jug lugs works for the bbc. Boris shut them up, they’ll have given him his orders. He’s not going To put his pay check on the line.
Neville works for sky. Sky knew they wouldn’t get the rights to the ESL if it went ahead. The broadcasting rights were a done deal with DAZN. I’d love him to prove me wrong. I guess I’ll have to wait and see.

That's why I said, on the whole, rather than all.

I respect people who walked away from the club they grew up with on a moral point. Said earlier I know people who've walked from NUFC because of this. I know people who walked away from the club during Ashley's tenure, who've no intention on coming back now he's been replaced with this lot. I know fans who've walked from their clubs because the modern Premier League isn't the football they fell in love with. Started going to non-league instead.

But there's more who don't.

Like John Nicholson said, this is just the latest turd in the pool.
