Get to fuck with that "he's a mag" shit. I'm not talking about Amnesty being envious - I'm talking about average Joe on here who has all of a sudden become an expert in middle eastern politics. The concerns are of course legitimate but it's when people are calling them murderers and that they supported 9/11 or whatever other crap that comes out.
you seem desperate to stick up for nufc fans and criticize safc ones.

Please highlight one comment where anyone has called Mag fans murderers please. Sympathisers to a horrific regime but not them personally. It's a big issue, way beyond a footballing one, and if everyone took your attitude then the piss taking will continue. Your analogies and comparisons are absurd.
Just browse that massive thread on them. You don't need to go too far before you find some meathead comment about them. The good points made by some are drowned out by bonehead comments like that.

True - but it's just been constant hand ringing. There's been England matches, Scotland matches and also build up to matches at the weekend. I've stayed quiet on this, but calling the Mags murderers and whatever else is just offensive. I've got close friends and family that are Mags and they're sound people. Most of them conflicted but generally happy to be rid of Ashley. It's moving dangerously in the direction of the way people refer to Liverpool fans around Hillsbrough in how they're referred on here. We're better than that and don't need to stoop to such rank levels of behaviour. It's like us being called racists cos of what supposedly happened with Darren Bent years ago, or paedos because of what Adam Johnson did. There's some knackers for them wearing head dresses and carrying Saudi flags - but then we had knackers who sang Johnson songs after he was convicted. We're all the same people - we live and work and socialise amongst each other. Calling them murderers etc. is just pretty vile to be honest.
Sounds like you know a bunch of murderers marra. Might wanna reconsider your Christmas card list.

Who's paying him to praise Amy Winehouse's singing ability?
In that case;

It’s either some lad in Saudi being paid to run a Twitter account used as a propaganda tool to attempt to cleanse the image of a barbaric rulership cos they might chop his head off

or

some lad in Wallsend running a Twitter account used as a propaganda tool to attempt to cleanse the image of a barbaric rulership cos they might sign Haaland

It's a message board ffs. Good points are nearly always overshadowed by bonehead stuff. Maybe don't read it if it upsets you so much? Or report it to the mods?
About 40% of the comments are from mags anyway.

They literally are - there's a tonne of posts in that massive thread calling them murders or murderer synpathisers amongst other things. It just shows those people up for what they really are - envious of having a bottomless pot of cash to spend rather than being concerned about gays, women, Yemen kids etc.

Ahhhh Bisto

I don't think anyone is calling the fans murderers like.

So your best mates and family are all Mags and you're not? But you spend your time on here slagging off safc and sticking up for Prince Andrew's ex and her barbarous overlords?
Get a grip ffs.
I live in Chester-le-Street man...so aye there's people from both sides in my social circle.

I'll stick up for them when people refer to some of my best mates and family as murderers or terrorist sympathisers.
I’d not go as far as calling a fan of another club a murderer or a terrorist. But for me the ones that are happy with this, dancing about with tea towels on their heeds, turning a blind eye to it, ignoring it, or however you want to describe it are enabling the Saudi objective of distracting attention from all the other horrible shit they do. Trying to make themselves acceptable. If the Saudis had come in and said they weren’t going to spend money and just wanted to keep the club ticking over and breaking even, all those people described above would go f***ing ballistic and you know it.

Patronising post. There's such a thing as research and it seems like the mags takeover has encouraged a lot of people to read up on the Saudis. Don't think many are claiming to be experts but people can read up on it and then form an opinion.

The comparison with Liverpool supporters is ridiculous. Liverpool fans were innocent.

110k Newcastle supporters signed a petition glorifying Bin Salman to force this through. A smaller number hurled abuse at a bereaved widow, but huge numbers participated in the biggest campaign for a takeover theres ever been.

Nothing about their behaviour in the last 12 months has suggested that they are feeling very conflicted, so it’s no use pretending they are now.

They’ve acted in such a way as to ensure that they bring the most appalling people on the planet into a position of influence in the region. That’s how they behaved - it’s utterly disgusting- and they should be made to live with the consequences.
