I actually feel sorry for decent Newcastle fans who hate what is happening.
I can honestly say, hand on heart, that I’d rather SAFC forever languished in the lower leagues than have our club tainted by that disgusting regime.
Saudi Arabia has the death penalty for, amongst other things, apostasy, homosexuality and witchcraft. This is the tip of the iceberg. I’ve no doubt some right-on moron will come out with the ‘they don’t know any better’ bollocks, (or ‘we were no better 600 years ago’), but that utterly patronising apologist stance couldn’t be further from the truth. At least some of the Royals are university educated, some in the U.K., I believe.

They‘re just evil, bloodthirsty, power hungry bigots who use religion as a weapon to brutally oppress the population. The sooner the regime are overthrown and punished for their crimes, the better. This takeover will haunt Newcastle United forever, but hey, as long as they win something…
Him off the hairy bikers was on Talksport and didn't seem too impessed,.

You wasted your time writing that all out because that wasn't at all what I was trying to do. I've explained it multiple times.

Is someone instantly an evil person because of their connections, was what I was querying. If that's the case, surely KLDs mam is also proper evil. That was all I was saying.

I was not trying to link Sunderland to Abu Dhabi in anyway.
Word of advice bonny lad, go and find some straws to clutch.

I called him out on this before, on this thread somewhere I think, years ago. He was simply a popularist, typically Guardian-esque, political aspirant who tried to mix as much non-football themes into his drawings as possible to get cheap laughs from the avocado-on-toast and iced-tea sipping captive audience. It started with just football, and it was fine, but then it became politicised, and now it's just completely out of touch.

I really hope you're copying a comment.

It's a shame to see so many posters on here resorting to derogatory comments about Islam in general. I find that quite offensive.

This is NOT the problem, the problem is the horrific actions of the Saudi government and the majority of mags who seem happy to endorse it.

Don't lower yourselves to their level by insulting what is predominantly a peaceful religion.

The only evil party in this is KSA. Everyone else falls into the category of useful idiot, each (Ashley, Staveley, Reubens and the fans) motivated by greed of one kind or another, and all serving the desired purpose of applying industrial levels of Daz to KSA's reputation. In other words, sportswashing. Not evil, just gullible.
Very generous description of the fans, they specifically wanted this potential owner to buy the club, have had Saudi flags all over, are all knocking about with tea towels on their head etc. It seems to me they feel a very strong allegiance to the KSA, they have embraced KSA as their own.

There’s plenty of peaceful Muslims all over the world, sure. Unfortunately, just about every Muslim country has poor human rights records. That’s quite damning, isn’t it? The problem with Islam is it has far too many conservatives and ultra-conservatives who take it to absurd extremes. The biggest sufferers of conservative Islam is ordinary Muslims.
A perfect example is Iran. Such a talented, hospitable, intelligent people ruled by a medieval bunch of murderers. If Ayatollah Khomeini hadn’t taken Iran back to the 1400s, they’d possibly have had a decent chance to be a prosperous, highly educated, liberal, scientifically orientated nation by now. Such a shame, but hopefully the future is brighter for them.

By the way, I’m not offended in the slightest if people want to insult religion. Why on Earth shouldn’t it be insulted? If people are going to worship sky fairies, they should expect their beliefs to be criticised. Racism against people who happen to be Muslims is a different thing altogether, but there’s nothing wrong with criticising a belief system, whatever it may be, if it’s purely based on faith and old books.

Their won’t be a football supporter in the country (excluding the mugs) not desperate for Spurs to smash them.

I won’t be watching though as I can’t stomach Sky’s hypocrisy.
100%
when they dont invest in the reejun (which was never happening anyway), the excuse trotted out will be because we were nasty about them
I’d be amazed if they did, if they want to make money.

Well I’ve not heard of 1 who does not support it?
Is that you outing yourself as an anti takeover, non gay stoning, equal rights & human rights supporter?
I hope the Spurs fans have their Israel flags out in full on Sunday.
