Just offering a balanced opinion. It seems a bit cultish on here at the moment. I personally think Newcastle will have some fans against this, but the majority for it, and that every club in the country would react in a very similar fashion. This isn't going to change football. The floodgates have been open for many years.

Granted if it was Grimsby I would not be as rational.
seriously - you think this is not going to change football ?
abramovich at Chelsea is worth 10 billion - and only 7 or 8 club's in Europe can compete with them - of which Barca , real Madrid , Juve have virtually bankrupted themselves .
The Saudi owners have 600 billion !! Newcastle now have so much money they can not possibly fail - they will keep spending money until they dominate .
the European super league is now even more certain
this is the death of competitive English football for all but the very very few .

Arsehole backtracking.
Wonder if his right on politically correct bosses at Sky are proud of the sycophantic, back tracking cretin?
LOL Let's keep building this up. Wonder if Spurs away crowd have anything planned for their trip to St. Butchers Park this weekend?

Do I. Well its all relative I suppose. If you are extremely intellectual Mr. 88, I may appear "canny think" in comparison.

No I don't ignore people I disagree with either. Defeats the object of discussion. Squirming :D .
Anyway, why has Cox not been sacked yet? It was rather amusing but pitiable seeing Harrogate put five past your keeper right in front of your travelling fans on Saturday's EFL Show. With each one a decreasing number could be bothered to stand up and gesticulate at the scorer. Full marks to all of you who went and had to put up with it, at least you got a consolation goal before their sixth. Has your owner. Peter Swann, still got plenty of money? I know he's poured millions in with no success since the Adkins era. He's going to have to put his hand in his pocket in January or you'll be watching National League football a year from now but you don't anyone to tell you that.

I still can't get over the Labour MP for Newcastle publically supporting it.

Same as the Tory MPs across the region.

I mean electorally it makes sense…Labour are trying to win back or cling on to working class seats, especially up in the NE.

Would you want to piss off 80% of working class men in Newcastle by opposing the Saudi takeover?

I don't play on twitter. I am also 100% certain that you, and those on here, do not genuinely believe that 90+% of NUFC fans support this. Twitter, FB, and pissed idiots outside the ground are not the 45k regulars attendee at SJP.

Obviously not an easy question to answer without prior knowledge, but are there signs of fans like yourself against it getting together and doing something? Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if some of our lot wanted to contribute, if they're from the area.
