I'm really not, I've been consistent in my criticism of them.

I'm also critical of the human rights violations of the UAE, and I think if we're pretending that Mansours ownership of Man City is anything other that sportswashing for the benefit of UAE, we're kidding ourselves.

If this allowed to stand there will be no winners mate. The government and the PL are up to their necks in this. They talk about independent regulators for the game, 🤣🤣🤣🤣 my ancient wrinkly spotty arse. How independent are they going to be when the prime minister steps in on behalf of a buyer? A text message is all it takes. This transcends any local rivalry. The mags should be given dogs abuse at every available opportunity by every team they play. Demonstrate to the choppers that although the mag fans are willing enablers, the rest of football supporters aren’t.

We’re not. Even though it IS different as @ned_werby has already eloquently pointed out.

fact is, you’re glorifying a murderous regime. You’re complicit in their blatant attempt to get the PR wagon rolling and your(not yours personally I’ll add as you’ve been more honest than most) answer is “you’re jealous” or “everyone else is doing it”.

neither of which is forgivable or remotely acceptable. It’s spitting on the graves of innocent children, journalists with a different opinion, LGBT’s who aren’t allowed to be themselves. It’s ever single atrocious thing imaginable.

all to say “we won something”.
It’s pathetic. It’s despicable and it is utterly disgusting.
