Maybe they will give him some time to see if he turns it around. He got them 13th and then 12th last season after finishing strongly. He has only got 1 new player this season with Willock (though he had him the back end of last season).

So is it really all solely his fault they're struggling with the same team players, especially given they've missed Callum Wilson for their last 4 League games and their 1st choice keeper in Dubravka all season?

I hope they do keep him as he's somehow blagged his way to staying with excuses about why they're 2nd off bottom this season 🤣

As the skunk said earlier in the thread, they're a top 12 club, if Bruce can achieve such feats with no money, imagine what he can do with a sizeable budget?

The likes of caulkin downie et al aren’t journalists, not in the traditional sense of the word. They are propagandists. They Will say whatever they think the greatest number of people want to hear in order to further themselves or their employers financial gain.
I read last week that the two most mistrusted professions were journalism and politics. It’s a shame for journalism as we are fortunate to have a small number of journalists in this country who are worthy of,and put their lives on the line for the title.
The rest are like caulkin. Shitehawks.

Bitterly ironic considering the profession of the high profile murder victim in the Saudi embassy in Turkey. Actually worse than ironic it’s sickening, imo.

The only thing I can think of is the tribal nature and siege mentality of when you feel like your club is under attack has kicked in.

This isn’t just “bitter” or “jealous” Sunderland supporters raising concerns it’s reputable journalists, organisations and media outlets voicing what ramifications this will have long term.

It probably won’t help the local BBC and the likes of Culkin and Bird defending the situation either they are as equally complicated in this… unfortunately for them it’s not going away any time soon.

What do they know about the northeast? The mags like to brag they are doing it for the region. Explain to us then how it will benefit the entire region. Don’t say they will. Explain why they will.

What do they know about football? Big in Saudi Arabia is it? KLD at least has a background in the sport. It’s just a meal ticket for them. I’m guessing they don’t feel much affinity with the club or the region right now.

The mags are gloating they have “their” club back but who do they now entrust this symbol of northeast sport. How connected with the club and region are the Arabs. Not much.

Football is huge in Saudi. I think Barca and Real Madrid are the most popular teams. A few massive stadiums also.
