I think they could even struggle with Western sponsors. What about strip manufacturer's? Do Nike and Adidas etc. want to be associated with these?

Any organisation worth their salt will distance themselves from them.

I've already made the point that Sky or BT sport showing their games is a hypothetical beyond belief giving they publicly talk about equality and fairness in society promoting & supporting the LGBTQ community as an example.

In fairness, the owners of the club at the time are still board members of the club now so it's not really the same thing at all.

I'd imagine the delay is two fold - firstly the luxury of the international window gives them time and secondly, they probably want to appoint a DoF first before appointing a manager that will work with it.

It's no secret they had apparently had both Rafa and then Pochettino down as candidates previously - how long do you keep leading people a long for when you had no idea whether the end was in sight or not ?
