Agreed again. But there comes a time when it’s “accepted”.
Nowt we can do as fans, it’s happened. There will be quite a few with strong morals who won’t go again, but for the majority, it will be match day as normal.
If it hadn’t been us, it would have been someone else.
Was that the view when Ashley was there? If so, what the fuck were all the protests about?

I think there’s plenty you could do to not be facilitating their sportswashing attempts.

I consider myself as a run of the mill Newcastle fan. 75% of games home and away since 1972.
I’m glad to see the back of Ashley and Sports Direct at the club. Although financially stable, the life has been sucked out of the club. No fun
Do I agree with what happens in Saudi? Of course not, it’s a despicable regime.
If I see a person with a tea towel on his head v Spurs, I’ll make my views known.

Will the takeover affect my support of the club I love? Will it balls.
If you or any other Mag really love the club you'd make a stand against one of the most vile regimes in the world owning it by boycotting it.

Weren’t the owners of Man City sniffing about the mags back in the day? The daft fuckers think they’re being bought because they’re the most loyal fans on the planet. The Saudis will be laughing their cocks off they now have an army of vacuous morally bankrupt desperate creatins on board to pay good money to sportswash them. How thick do you have to be to not take a step back and think had on why are all these shithouse murderous regimes always looking at buying us?

They’re now nothing more than an unpaid army of bellend minions for their shithouse murdering hateful owners and they’re celebrating it.

Fuck me man the bottom course of a dam wall isn’t as thick as these twats.

Won't happen but I'd like to see the reasoning like. If just pure investment then there's a few clubs that wouldn't have cost 300M. Brighton for example. West Ham?

i can't see a time when a murderous regime is ever accepted.

Not going to happen.
Of course I disagree with what goes on n their country, but it’s not going to stop me from supporting Newcastle.
They’ll sell up eventually. The wheel will turn.

Yet when the evil Ashley was in charge, your lot managed to stage protest after protest to get him out. Likewise when the Premier League refused to wave it through prior to the brown envelopes arriving, your lot managed to stage a “Premier League is Corrupt“ campaign. I presume they are no longer classed as being corrupt on Tyneside.

All supporters want to see their club ‘win‘ a cup or two, but once the it no longer becomes a competition and simply a matter of a foreign state providing one, then it tends to lose it’s appeal to most normal folk. When it’s simply being bought by one of the world’s most oppressive regimes, then it becomes worthless in the eyes of your ‘competitors’.
