He went head to head on Twitter on Thursday, his moral compass is pointing in the right direction.
Unlike some of the NE journos that I actually had some respect for and who I thought had a moral compass but have sold out.

The deal wouldn’t have gone through without the tories. How that sits I’ll never know.

The Newcastle Central Member of Parliament who has panned Ashley for how he treats workers has welcomed ownership by people who jail women's rights activists without trial, order stonings and beheadings and fly assassins in luxury personal jets to murder journalists critical of Saudi Arabia.

How on earth can she be trusted to bring people and institutions to account in Newcastle and the UK when she embraces this?

He does have quite a big soft spot for us Janey. We are his fav team.

Hes not the type to let this lie either so good on him. His mate Max Rushden is just as appalled

He's a very outspoken character and thus not everyone's cup of tea but he's not afraid to tackle contriversial topics.

Plus he coined the title Jongleurs FC for the mags so he can do no wrong in my eyes.
 
It will be really interesting too see which reporters and media types side with the deal without question and which do not. And investigate it more critically.

Wonder how Look North Korea will proceed.
