It's 50 shades of grey (seems an appropriate analogy for a regime that goes in for a lot of flogging). The test also refers to being guilty of something which would be an indictable offence if it had taken place in the UK. Ordering a murder would seem to fit the bill.
Do you think it will go through?

I'm looking forward to every Newcastle fan furiously clapping as bin Salman donates 50k to the local food bank in a very ironic twist of morality. Be a dark day for football of he's allowed to use one of England's biggest clubs to wash blood off his hands like.

Football is already struggling to hold my interest with Donald/Methven involved with us, the pathetic refereeing and every other player getting sent off for going to ground in the premier. This would finish off my interest. Think I’d take up Golf on a Saturday.

It drenches them in blood though. It's awful watching them slaver over them. Keith wouldn't care if it was Hitler buying the club as long as he put a few deutchmarks and stolen paintings in the war chest.

They know who they're inviting in.

So, is the story now that Saudi are going to pay £1 billion to Qatar re: a piracy issue, a claim that they probably didn't need to settle due to jurisdiction issues. Then they will pay c£300m for Newcastle.

And, they are only dealing with the piracy issue to complete the purchase of Newcastle.

If so, why would Saudi pay £1.3billion for an asset worth around £300m. Something seems amiss. This can't only be about the takeover.

Nah won't just be about the takeover, not in a million years.

Personally, I think this is solely so that KSA residents can watch the Arab Cup next month. The payment is then also to ensure they can watch the WC. The opened up travel so Saudi's can attend but once the WC is over they will resume hating each other. Saudi's love football and if they were prevented from watching next month they would be very unhappy. Absolute zero evidence that this is related to Newcastle.

Wonder why Pete Graves has deleted the tweet in my initial post saying he was on his way to St James now to report for sky sports.
