Last 4 seasons you've finished 10th, 13th, 13th, 12th.
You must be over the moon with the way things are going.
The finishes, aye. The football - no thanks. Before you waffle on about Bruce/Rafa I've stated plenty of time the football was shite under both.

I'd love to play football like Brighton for example or Leeds - where you may win you may lose but every game you are giving it a f***ing good go.

At the end of the day, it's meant to be entertaining. We have maybe 2 at best entertaining players and a dull as fuck manager who sets up dull as fuck football.

The Saudi's are 100% still at the table - why would anyone Club, Staveley etc be wasting their time with Arbitration and the process of it if they weren't. Get to the end, find out they had been successful and then not able to purchase the club as they had no funds anyway? No one's that mental (apart from a few on the politics forum).

Mike Ashley would do it because if it was found that the PL hadn't followed the right process he might get some compensation out of it. It also seemed to get the fans off his back for a bit.

Staveley would do it out of sheer desperation. She owes Mike Ashley half the deposit he loaned her. She also sued Barclays for £1 billion, ended up with nothing, and has been told to pay their costs. She owes about £30m. Not immediately obvious how she can pay this. One thing that emerged at the Barclays hearing is that PCP isn't a real company - its got 2 employees - her and her husband, and I think it was said that it has only ever done one deal. She allowed everyone to think she was representing Sheikh Mansour, but was actually on Thaksin's side in the Man City deal. She claimed in court that Mansour was her friend and would be for a very long time, but was unable to produce a letter from him vouching for her. The judge said that she 'had a tendency to exaggerate'. Has she got a similar relationship with the Saudis as she does with Sheikh Mansour?

The only thing the Saudis have said is that they are walking away, which they announced at the same time as exacerbating the tv piracy.

Looks to me that she's trying to cobble the deal back together and then go running back to the Saudis to persuade them back. If she can't manage that then she'll have to find a few million from somewhere else, hence her tears to Caulkin.

Did we? Find any evidence of the plethora of posts I have made on here about him that suggest that 🙄 lazy old cliche

Don't need to go through your posts. But a lot of your fans idolised him. #rafagoeswego, the Shark Club with its "Rafa is a Geordie" banner.

You might not have worshipped him. But a lot of your fans did and still do.

How would that work exactly when they are the ones holding up the takeover and the sole purpose of arbitration in the first place? They are the ones needing to supply documents etc - they wouldn't be willing to do this if they weren't already at the table.

Hes too inconsistent which is why he's with us. I agree he will move on at some point and he is class in our pretty poor team, but his decision making and poor ball retention at times will probably hold him back for playing right at the top. He's not even in the France squad.

You can count on one hand the amount of times gets the ball in a good position in the game. Looks dangerous every time he gets it though.

In a top team he’s going to get the ball a hell of a lot more and he’s not going to have about 4 players marking him as they’ll be worried about other players. Not 2 max

Who is holding up the takeover? The PL? The Saudis? What takeover? There doesn’t appear to be one.

I was under the impression that this legal action related to the period of time when there definitely was a takeover and whether Ashley missed out on a deal at that point due to some fault with the PLs process.

The inability of Staveley’s side to provide any documents was the reason for the hold up in the last round of this nonsense anyway.

It's tragic. I know that they're an embarrassment, but that's a 65 year old man, and reading that made me worry about his mental state. Don't get me wrong, it's going to change nothing, but I worry about owld folks post-covid, and this fella needs more support than laughing at (although I am a proper soft bollocks, so probably just being a bit worrisome)
Na fuck him.

And you lot have never sung songs in support of managers ?
Not in the way the Mags did with Rafa (maybe not you) but years later there was plenty dreaming he'd come back but he went to Everton instead.

It would also be nice if someone invested in the stadium, cleaned it up a bit - put the teles back on the wall to watch during half time and removed the f***ing dead pigeon that's been there years.

There are two things currently happening - the CAT case which is seperate to the arbitration - both are still very much ongoing.

That's also not totally true either - it was quite widely reported that both parties failed to provide what they had been asked to
Is Newcastle (massive club) cup game tomorrow?
You'd assume so, the way that so many on here are talking about Bruce doing a good job.

He’s doing a rubbish job but you won’t go down under him. If Ashley was in it for the long run he would gamble on Potter, Howe etc. but he wants out. Even them take a look at Howe’s signings.
