I nivver saw it meself like. But it does seem odd Newcastle fans would be given a piece of film on local telly to say whatever it is they said. I mean are they that dense nobody turned around and said how bad this is for the PR? Non football fans in the region, and it is those in the region and not half of the south east, that they need to worry about. Non football fans here will only have negative opinions about Newcastle United’s fans if that is what they are shown.

Bit of an ironic post considering who they're begging to buy them 😳😳

""
I think that we're all extremely frustrated the way this club sale has dragged on, and is still, due to legal procedures, dragging on.
Murderers, bank robbers and spies see justice served quicker than this debacle.""

The mags come up with some fabulous definitions of irony.

I have come to the conclusion all mags are just batshit mental
Must admit from social media the mags in general are absolutely f***ing barmy but I can only go off the mags I know and honestly every one of them are sound lads. Not one of them go on like that.

But I do think that the local and national media are part of the problem as they feed these type of people

Let's not forget the crux of this Lads. Whilst I think the Saudis are gone take this in.

They're going on the way they are to get a murdering torturous regime to own them. One of the most dangerous dictators in the world who kills and mames at a whim. Something that 97% of them voted in favour of.

They shouldn't be anywhere near the opinion of wanting this to happen but the fact they are and they're not f***ing ashamed of themselves speaks volumes for these people and what kind of morons they are.
But what about the region?
Wraith knows them all they are trying to change?
Premier league corrupt, Top six corrupt, Simon Jordan and Talksport worst treat football fans in UK , Saudis and Staveley top people

Exile will love this find from 2010:

"In contrast to Ashley, the former owners did very nicely out of their investment in Newcastle United, thank you very much. In fact, they absolutely coined it with the Halls (Sir John and Douglas) receiving a total of £95 million over the years, while the Shepherds (Freddy and Bruce) had to make do with £55 million. The Halls’ money comprised £55 million from the sale to Ashley, £20 million from previous share sales (to NTL and the club itself), £15 million from dividends and £5 million in salary payments, while the Shepherds’ money came from £38 million Ashley sale, £7 million dividends and £5 million salaries."

"And what was the result of these staggering payments? After years of rank bad management, they left the club in an appalling mess: a £30 million loss; £70 million of debt plus £27 million owing transfer fees; extremely limited borrowing capacity, as all assets and income streams had already been used to secure loans; and a bloated wage bill of aging mercenaries on generous long-term contracts."

Fake news.😏

In a nutshell this is saying he'd like either Arsene Wenger or Jurgen Klinsman as Director. Of Football. Lack of self awareness, where they stand in the football world and delusion is huge.Theyre barmy these fuckers

Sabre on Leicester take a look here:

I fear, like Newcastle in the 1990's, it is built on sand. Look at loans, owner debt, external debt. If they run out of players to sell they are fecked.

Leicester have brilliant owners who are in it for the long term and have very very deep pockets - they are also lovely people

They are very lucky to have them

Yeah they do seem a good bunch. How horrendous that helicopter crash was a few years back and how surreal as well.

You'd definitely be happy supporting them right now.

Again I'm nee accountant but looking at that post @jlaws hoyed up, have the owners just hoyed a £111m loan in and are now owed £154m and Leicester are in £219m debt, yet it was just £25m 2 years ago? Is this them trying to maintain staying in the best of the rest group at the top and financially gambling that they stay there?

Also the profit they've made is helped by them winning it as they made a canny bit in 2017 due to Champions League but since then have gone the other way. Will the owners keep plowing money in if Leicester revert back to what they were and are they even allowed to keep putting money in? If Leicester fail to get anywhere in the Europa League then they'll miss out on a few millions, albeit nowhere near the Champions League.

The finance is still a loan - they could have diluted the equity instead to represent a pure cash injection.

Anything can happen with an overseas owner. That being said they are probably the best owners in the Premier League right now.

That’s what they want though. They want someone pissing money away on stars, whether they have that money or not. I suspect Mike Ashley won’t ever get a write up like this:

He was the man who encouraged Newcastle United fans to dream - thanks for the memories, Freddy

Newcastle United have lost a dreamer in Freddy Shepherd, writes Lee Ryder

Shepherd once told me how he’d tried to sign them all from Rivaldo, Roberto Baggio, Luis Figo, Chris Waddle, Paul Gascoigne and Dennis Bergkamp to name but a few.

OK, he may not have got some of them, but the ambition was genuine.

As one fan, David, Tweeted today: “No matter you say about Freddy Shepherd, my best days as a Newcastle fan were under him.”
