It's barmy isn't it, the only reason they get big crowds is like you say they are the only football club in a massive city with a huge population.

Only in recent years? We spent most the 90s in Europe while you were in the second division or battling relegation from the PL and above you more often that not in the 00s too. 10 top 6 finishes in the last 30 years to your zero. Lot more than just recent years and we have a lot more to shout about than you lot getting turned over regularly by likes of Lincoln and Burton etc etc having to play papa johns football :lol: :oops:

Why don't you go and tell Arsenal, Spurs, Leicester, Blackburn, Villa, Everton, Leeds, etc,etc....fans that.

You know teams that have done much more than yourselves over the last 30 year.

I think I am on ignore with Wolfie as I have called him out for his lack of football knowledge previously. He is like a stuck record with crowds, seasons in Europe but when we look back at the record books in years to come people will see zero trophies. Wolfie and other mags dismiss the exploits of Leeds, Villa, Forest, Dundee United, Aberdeen as insignificant but in the not too distant future everyone will have the same view of the also ran mags from 1995-2004. At least he has admitted they are lesser than Everton and all that matters is being bigger than ourselves......the club at its lowest point in its 142 year history. Massive achievement that is.

We are at the lowest ebb in our entire history. If you can’t be better than us right now his help you. Sunderland have given us all some fantastic experiences and they will again.
