In the cold light of day, imo, if this was any club that we supported you would be over the moon. I am honestly gutted they have taken over the mags, just trying to focus on what a lot of good stuff is happening at our club under KLD now. Unfortunately the United Kingdom have a relationship with the Saudis and have for years, it all feels for me is jealously that them up the road now have money to burn
Good post and initially I would have agreed with you. However the more i have read about this regime I realise they make China humane. We are talking about a Prince committing shocking human rights abuses and also being part of a family who support crimes against young women, never mind state sponsored torture. And a football club is happy to take his money. This is not a rich Russian oligarch, but a state ruler who is happy to see a young woman who was gang raped, put into prison for supposed lies and then lashed. This is not about them having more money.

We've basically had questionable foreign owners in England for a long time. ( not to mention Homegrown ones...)

American uber capitalists owning Man u,
Russians owning Chelski ,
Russians/ yanks at Arsenal ,
Middle Eastern despots at Man C,
Thais in Leicester
Chinese elsewhere,
Indians elsewhere

So I think the precedent has been well & truly set in stone . .... 🤔

Now NUFC are owned by a Consortium ....80% of which is the Saudi sovereign wealth fund.

The Saudi Gov -( that HMG still sells arms to)

Onwards and upwards - it's football after all.....nothing more nothing less

Glazers, Abramovitch, Liverpool & Manc owners complaining because another player is coming in for a share of their pie....

Others worried that a relegation candidate has upsized to executive class

....... Ah diddums
😆😆😆

This lad joined up, posted for months and never let on he was black and white.
Because I'm not.
I just have different opinions to many here about a lot of things.
Sorry you feel you have to put me on ignore, i never knew your position was so weak it would not withstand debate.

You're missing the whole point aren't you.

No, because it has fuck all to do with my club. Will you be stood outside singing Jamal Khashoggis name?

There is a lot of faux outrage on here by people not prepared to do f***ing anything about it. It's not about the human rights to many of the posters on here or you would be actively looking to join Amnesty International with their protests or arranging your own protests. You aren't.
As you can probably tell I’m way behind in the thread. I called you out earlier as I felt there were some double standards from the values you espoused elsewhere and then your views on your new owners.

You dismissed this by saying that you hadn’t expressed any favourable opinions with regards to PIF so I apologised but I read on and here you are dismissing criticism of the Saudi regime as ‘faux outrage’ as they’re not prepared to do anything about it. So tell me, what have you done about the myriad of topics that you’ve been outraged about on the politics forum?

This is the double standards I’m talking about. And I’ll reiterate, this is coming from someone who is massively in agreement with the vast majority of your posts on the politics forum, though you’re massively undermining them now.

Really powerful image
would be ideal - with the permission of the artist - to make banners , poster's , t-shirts and cards .
print on sticky label's and cover all of Newcastle .
still can not get my head around how the premier league will ban players for posting homophobic messages on social media - but will allow a country that jails people for being gay to buy a premier league club .
have decided to contact through social media all Newcastle player's , legends and sponsors asking them to confirm on their social media accounts that they condemn racism , sexism and homophobia - the message to be in English and Arabic .
Time to get organised - this is not a Sunderland fight - but a fight against hate and discrimination
