Sadly his streaks follow him around and every single season in his career, without fail, the team he manages go on a very long winless run. Similar this season and we won’t finish top 2.
Similar this season  you know we won on Tuesday right? Wow a 1 game losing streak in terrible conditions (I know, smae for both teams etc. etc. blah blah blah).

That’s what I can’t understand? Why Newcastle when they could buy a much more prestigious club both here and abroad . This is probably the one hope I have that they are not going to go all out .
The club I would buy in that position would be Man Utd . They already have the players and the history and would instantly raise their countries’s profile .
How much would it cost to buy Man Utd? £3bn? vs £300m on us?

Could easily come though. Mind if you asked me who I would want to replace him I wouldn’t know, doesn’t seem to be a great deal of managers around.

It's cheaper to buy a club with massive potential who you then turn around. A bit like what happened at City, or what is happening with Sunderland now as well.
Are PSG in the EPL?
That's 6 letters

they will have zero interest in building a new ground : imagine Saudi princes going to planning meetings with the council :)
If they did , I can’t imagine them being turned down . Would just have to have somebody outside the meeting turning a sthill saw on and off and the councillors would put anything through .

Do you think St James will become a focus for Amnesty (or similar) protests?
I think for the next few home games there'll be people out front protesting KSA for their innumerate crimes, it'll dwindle though. As it always does.

I think NUST should bend over backwards to hear out the people protesting, and take their case to the club.

The hypocrisy at work from mags is staggering like. Man city and Chelsea were spoiling football and are only rich not big. Now they are going to buy the league and haven't got any issue as they are big anyway.

Lets be honest, we're going through every fans worst nightmare. At least United were class when City were taken over, while Chelsea have little real rivals etc. Our rivals are about to be catapulted into ridiculous wealth, which is more then likely to translate into some form of success in the mid to long term. We could easily end up like Torino with Juve, Utrecht with Ajax or Espanyol with Barca.

Whatever happens, however much they spend, the pressure on Newcastle from Amnesty International, LGBT, Women’s rights groups etc will be absolutely immense as Newcastle will give them a huge stage and audience to protest

The pressure will subside after an initial round. They’ll sit tight and then the pundits and journalists will critique them entirely based upon footballing performance.

Their supporters won’t give a shite about the morality or practices of the regime if they’re spending and starting to see progress. With the wealth the Saudis have and the effort they’ve put in to get to this stage, they’re not going to be bothered by the criticism nor will they be counting the pennies and attempting to be sustainable. It’ll be a splurge and there’ll be a few lonely voices criticising in the background

Man City also had all that space outside of the stadium too, which they’ve used to create a sports village, build a women’s football stadium etc., St. James’ is very restricted in that regard.

A new offer of a Leazes Park development maybe? It's looking a bit uncared for these days. If the council could offload it and free up some much-needed funds I'm sure they would.

Key point - PiF are a fund.

Manchester United are worth approx 4.2m USD and so are trading at an excess of 6x revenue. Likewise Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and City. There is no upside in buying those clubs.

NUFC's revenue is c150m and so if sold they are going for only 2 x revenue. Smarten the place up, improve the governance structure, grow commercially and get in top half and you are looking at a significant return.

We already are, have been 2 leagues below them for 4 years.
