Hard to disagree with what you’re saying. We are awful to watch, the players seem to not know what they are doing and players are going backwards. It’s hard to watch. As for Bruce, Ashley will have to pull the trigger to protect his investment at some point but will wait as long as he can.
With the parachute money,Bruce will be given the chance to get you back up methinks, and of course on the cheap.I don’t see many of your players being wanted by Premier League clubs.Quite possibly Lewis going back to Norwich for a big loss.Wilson you may be able to make a bit money on.Dubravka and Darlow would interest a few clubs I would think.Gayle is a proven goalscorer in the Championship so you’ll need to hold on to him.I’ve just about got you relegated 😉

Haha you have it all planned out don’t you?

I felt Rafa respected the fans, the job all while trying to not be a lickspittle to the owner.

This is just an utter fantasy that you lot constructed in your heads - absolutely no basis in reality at all.

He didn’t seem to change the transfer policy in any meaningful way and he crashed out at the early stages of the cups, just like all of Ashley’s managers (except Bruce).

What concessions did he extract from Ashley that Bruce hasn’t? The reality is that he threw the fans a few bones with a couple of cryptic comments to the press, but aside from that he just kept his head down and saw out his contract collecting his £5m a year, as anybody would. Then he fucked off to China.

How the supporters turned that into a completely fictional Ashley v Rafa saga is beyond me. He certainly benefitted from the “everything good is Rafa, everything bad is Ashley mentality” though - really knew how to string you all along!

That's the truth of it. He knew he could say a bit in the press that would appease the fans and have no impact at all on Ashley while all the time picking up a huge wage until his contract ran out.

there’s three worse teams in the PL than Nufc. Shef Utd are gone already, wba and Fulham will probably be relegated.

Sheff Utd I think are definite. Can’t rule out Sam doing his thing and keeping West Brom up. Think it’ll be touch and go as long as Bruce is in charge

According to the odds the bookies think you will be fine....

Sheff Utd/WBA/Fulham/Burnley/Brighton/Mags

Mags are around 10/3, 7/2, 4/1 to go down. Alas (for us) it seems like there are three more shite sides than the mags. I am sure Ashley will recognise this which will make Brandon Williams the height of ambition in the window!

Burnley's takeover may go through and they will then have money to spend and f the Chinese billionaire owner of WBA trusts BSA he may get the funds to get them out......which may make it squeaky bum time for mags if you are 16/17 for most of the season post NY.

No different from Rafa really

this one is marvellous, especially where he says, Ivan Toney market value £4.5 million then proceeds to ignore to even get him from Brentford after 16 goals this season would cost about £30 million
