It's so bizarre, I could understand if they played good football under him, but they didn't, never had a cup run, didn't pull up any trees in the league etc.
I mean I know it's just because he made them feel like a big club, given the clubs Benitez had failed at in recent years, but it's so odd. I can't imagine any other fanbases acting like this.
