You have been bought by a nation state in a deal that required the intervention of the Saudi Government to threat to stop buying UK arms to make it happen. PIF are funded by the Saudi Government. They are so embarrassed to front up the deal that they just paid 40m for a special share so that the smiling face was not watered down. Every (potential) achievement will be marked with an asterisk.

You can retort with any whatabout shite you want but this is so so different. KSA dwarfs Qatar and the UAE. You have fecked football for good.

Explain to me the meaning of abstract and then explain it again in the context of your post. While you’re at it look up obdurate and obfuscate.
Then explain to me how the KSA don’t, haven’t, and never will stone rape victims to death, cut off peoples heads in public. Crucify teenagers. Torture gay people. Murder journalists. Fund terrorism. And engage in a war that has caused famine and a humanitarian crisis. And when you’ve done that you can explain why you campaigned to have them installed as owners of the club you once considered your own. Why over a hundred thousand of you signed a petition in support of that campaign. Why your fellow supporters visited the Houses of Parliament and Downing Street ( parliament was shut and Boris wasn’t in but it’s the thought that counts eh?). Why you hound the fiancée of a dead journalist. Explain why so many of your fellow supporters dressed up as Arabs.
Explain to me why your head supporter sat down and ate chicken and rice whilst dressed as an Arab. Explain to me why one of his acolytes expressed a love of Saudi culture whilst not being able to point it out on a map. Explain to me why none of these things are true/didn’t happen, then we may talk. Until then our conversation is over and you can join your fellow apologists and enablers on ignore. But know this, the whole world now sees you as you really are.

Some great points made here especially the hounding of the fiancee. Can you believe that people with no actual knowledge of the country were sharing the PR view that she wasn't even his fiancee, the family (having been bought houses by the government) did not know her, that JK was a terrorist himself....it really beggars belief.

I actually engaged with "Keith" on twitter for a short while but as soon as I suggested that "you can be a loyal NUFC and not feel required to fawn over KSA" he blocked me.

That'll never happen like but if they ever bring back the superleague there's nothing really stopping their owners moving a lot of home games to Saudi

The CL is on the brink of a mega new TV deal which will push ESL off the table. I guess I will never know if I am right in saying the mags had an appetite for it!

But....they have already been brought to Saudi and made to perform like the proverbial seals. That will be regular now - pre-season, then permission to play an FLC tie there.......We may even have a new training ground in London? Who knows. But they have their club back! lol
