I thought we defended poorly and didn't deserve anything. In the end we got nowt and so I didn't piss my pants coz that's what crap defending gets you. We defended like Southampton last season. Clean sheet next week and a deflected goal for one~nil please.

It was crushing and I was sick as fuck, they said, I just think of how I initially thought the season would go compared to how it’s actually went and I can’t stay mad. We’ve had a fantastic season, better than any of us dared to imagine.

It is cruel at times but as you say we can’t win them all and proud in many respects to be the best team in the northeast. Hopefully we can regroup and beat Forest on Friday night now

Same, at 3-1 I was ok with defeat to a team in a European semi and most likely qualifying for champs league, but after getting back level and missing a clean through 1 on 1, then going on to lose i'm just absolutely gutted. What an opportunity to get ourselves into the driving seat for Europe.
