Where the hells the thread been for this game? I watched the progress on Cricinfo and kept checking on here for the craic. I thought I'd had too much wine and was getting pretty confused. WTFs going on lads.

Exactly. After the Worcs disaster, defeat was just to be anticipated no matter what. Should have beat Worcs and Yorks easily though. Been a weird T20 this one.

A story of "what might have been" this season in the T20. Excellent result tonight, but some of those games where we should have won cost us dearly. Nothing to break their concentration on the red ball game now, ha'way lads

After the 50 over competition I thought we had a chance of qualifying in the T20 especially as we had 2 overseas batsmen.
A bit disappointed but the progress of some of the younger players in the one day competitions this season has been excellent and the decision to use Steel as an opener was brilliant by the management. I don't think anyone saw that happening at the start of the season.
Short has been a great signing probably the best T20 signing the club have made.
One concern for me is the lack of game time for Rushy in the T20. I can understand the 50 over competition but surely he could have been involved in some T20 especially at home.
