Yes, I would have though a win against Worcs would make us safe.

The best thing about that game is that Lancs will be desperate to win it and they will need to take risks which might play into out hands. I am starting to feel a lot more comfortable about our league position now.
 
Absolutely brilliant win. I reckon we'll comfortably stay up now, especially if we keep playing like this.

I never thought we'd go down, although that may be because Durham have been the best around since I started following cricket.
 
The guy who does the updates for Radio Newcastle is a pillock. Last I heard yesterday he was slating Colly for declaring too soon and said they should have batted on till after lunch

Genius declaration of the year, perfectly judged as it turned out

The (partially) successful chase is what killed them in the end. Looks like they could have easily batted out the draw. As someone on here predicted ;-)

Well I said several weeks ago that age wasn't an issue and pointing to low confidence, Harmison, team selection of Muchall/Jennings not getting a game and the captaincy as the main issues. Few things have changed and we're suddenly flying.

Our old players are still performing really well
 
Good innings from Rocky and nice contribution from Stokes. Colonel can't succeed every time. Need a bit of a blitz from Muchall to keep up to the asking rate. Come on lads!
