delighted for rocky, the praise he's recieved off Cook has obviously had a positive impact on him.

Durham are looking decent here.

Great knock. Making the openers spot his own after DiVo. Who joins him is massively up for grabs.

1000 runs next season, minimum.

Comms are saying bad weather is supposed to be due, but the skies actually look clear

Moved to the top of the batting averages with that knock.

26.23

If we had anyone averaging in the 30s we'd be top of the league

It was a bit of a shame he went into complete one day mode. He was batting so well it would have been nice to see him score a massive ton.

Still baby steps and all that

These weather predictions are prolly the reason

Playing under floodlights. Howells waffling nonsense about it fully replacing the daylight

He's a bit experienced for baby steps.

Today shows he can score runs in key games. I don't think anyone on here ever doubted his ability (more questioned whether he would live up to the potential) so it's good to see him make a solid knock, and follow it up the next innings with a big score (in circumstances).

2013 he will be preferred opener and he should be looking to score at least 1000 runs. IMO.

The floodlight talks getting a bit boring like

I suspect the sky would have to be pitch black for it to be fully replacing daylight ;-)

Howells is a pompous tedious fecker like

Rsp :-(

Why do the county have such a problem developing any of their England U19 batsman into decent county players

Thought Stoneman was going same way as Peng, Gough and Pratt etc

I know theres a counter argument for this but I think the riverside is a cruel place for a young batsman to learn his trade. On a good day theres always something in it for the bowler but on other days its almost unplayable. I think Durham have been guilty at times of overegging conditions for their seamers which isnt helping young batsmen and also the likes of Borthwick develop as they should.

Bit of a Surrey collapse going on. Now 5 down at 190 ahead. Would them winning be a terrible thing if we can get a win against Notts
