i agree, question is who would buy it?
Not a clue.

What is obvious from the last fortnight is the young lad is completely out of his depth when things aren’t going smoothly.

If you submitted a script about SAFC since the morning of the Bolton game as a play about a supposed professional football club, it would get rejected as too far fetched to be true.

Absolutely unbelievable incompetence

So he’s not coming. I can live with that. What is slightly annoying is that we have still had no indication when the next head coach will be appointed. That’s the problem. We’re doing a great job of wanting to be a third rate football team.

KLD liking stuff on Instagram, the drip feed and briefing from different sources to the media, the appointment of people way out of their depth to oversee first team affairs for at least two fixtures and the subsequent shit shows, the ludicrous pre match interview from Speakman about process, shortlisting and fact finding and Methven sitting alongside the directors at a fixture, the pitch being like a ploughed field, unappointed youth team positions, unfinished work at the academy, no clarity on who owns what at the club and a fifth season in the third division of English football on the horizon again.

What an absolute f***ing shitshow this is. Anyone who now can’t or won’t see that the way the ‘project’ is being managed is substandard and amateur need their head checking. It’s an embarrassment.

The club is a spiritual home for thousands of committed, devoted and truly outstanding supporters who turn up and back their club regardless of the garbage served up on and off the park. I wish we had people in charge who not only appreciated that but made it good for them.

I think this week may be the final nail for me unless there’s a genuine change. I’m gutted for everyone.
Many, many, many local lads and lasses will always go and I understand that as it's ingrained into their routines and social lives. They will never want to lose face by showing disloyalty as they'll still be around those who stick it out.

The thousands who have to pay over the odds because they have to travel and those who aren't around other fans day to day will just simply stop going now, stating "not under these fuckers" as their reason. Its the club that is showing disloyalty and ignorance towards those fans.

The club cannot put at risk the clubs future to sign a manager, but these last 10 days have just been excruciating and almost amounts to fraud for those who paid to attend the last 3 matches.

If we had anyone with an ounce of competence / acumen at the top heads would be rolling for this utter utter shambles - problem is the people who need binning are the ones with the axe.

There’s days where I think the man in a pub could run the club better than these berks

On Friday night Roy Keane said that the ‘contract had to be right’ live on ITV. The following Wednesday it falls through because of ‘contractual issues’; so it’s been going on a while and he’s turned it down. So unprofessional and an absolute car crash of leadership

A deal isn't done until both sides agree terms (and then that agreement is evidenced in writing, signed, possibly sealed & delivered for good measure). You (and others) jumped the gun. Self-imposed life ban, I think you said? Seems a bit disproportionate, but it's up to you.
I’ll accept a life ban no problems then next time I get inside info I won’t make a fool of myself on here if it goes tits up

Maybe so, but a mass walkout just isnt going to happen. Even the Mags who despised Ashley couldnt stop people going

Not talking about an organised mass walkout though. We were getting 48k in the PL and we're down to 30k now. Actual attendances during the Parkinson era were probably low 20's so it's not written in stone that we'll always turn up. Next season could be interesting if it's League One and someone like Lennon or McCann in charge.

I know Sunderland fans won't change to supporting the Mags but if parents stop taking their kids to Sunderland matches then there's no guarantee which club those kids will choose to support. We could easily lose a generation of fans due to the absolute incompetence of recent years.
